Petrol Prices

Recent rises in VAT and Fuel Duty is hurting most motorists - the price of petrol is the highest it has ever been. Even though you probably can’t dodge the rises, there is a helpful online tool which will help you find the cheapest petrol in your area.

I’ve been using www.petrolprices.com (registration required) for a long time to find the cheapest fuel. It’s a handy online tool which searches your immediate area and tells you where the best prices are. There is also a handy iPhone app which can use your current location using the phone’s built-in GPS to determine where you are.

Taking Photos at Car Shows

Photofocus.com has an interesting article about taking photos at car shows. It’s well worth a read if you are bringing a camera to one of our meets and there is a photo oportunity in the offing.

Buyers' Top Tips

Since production stopped in 2007, all Crossfire purchases will now be used examples, and like any car there will be nice and not so nice examples on the market. Main dealer prices will be higher but a warranty of 12 months should be offered to you. A private sale can save some money but check the cars history with an HPI and check the service history.
