June 6th: Meet for a Cotswolds Tour: Meet for a late morning Coffee, then a cruise through the villages, Chipping Norton, Shipston on Stour, and Morton in Marsh, Stow on the Wold and on to Bourton on the Water for an afternoon cream tea.
11.00 Meet at the “Inn for All Seasons” near Barrington, Burford on the A40 for a Coffee. Then take a steady cruise using mainly A & B roads through the north Cotswold scenery. Some roads are narrow so please take extra care, watch speed and stay together.
Mid way along our route is Chipping Campden where we can park in the village centre, take a stroll and take some photographs. We can then continue on to Bourton on the Water to park in the pay & display on Station Road. We can walk into the village centre to visit the Mad Hatters Tea Rooms for a Cream Tea on the riverside and also have plenty of time to explore.
