Well here we are for the last meet of the season at the magnificent Brooklands museum.
With all makes of cars both vintage and modern, Concorde simulator, buses and, of course, our iconic cars.
On the day 19 cars attended, reduced by one due to an unfortunate accident to a member’s car the day before.
The weather was great allowing all of us to fully explore all that was been exhibited and culminating in two of our members taking to the test hill. Both Damian Searby and Harry Reed being the brave souls to tackle this.
The club cars were parked on the start/finish straight of the historic circuit and great interest from many visitors made us all very proud of our cars, probably the largest club present on the day.
Many members also took the time to visit the Mercedes World exhibition with its very expensive collection of cars.
And so, we come to the end of our very busy, and successful 2017 meet programme with 18 events.
And this venue is just the right one to end the year.
