The Ragley Hall meeting attracted 20 cars on an unexpectedly sunny day. This is the first time we had visited this event and everyone agreed that the venue with its beautiful house and grounds and a full range of cars, bikes and military vehicles was worth the visit.
Ragley Hall has been in the family since 1680, with the Marquis of Hertford the current occupant, so the place is packed with history and stories of the past.
The car show was well attended with great interest in our cars. We had a similar number of cars as the Lotus stand, a great achievement for the club.
With three new members joining on the day and many regulars attending the conversations were many covering technical issues and the clubs development. The first regional meeting was discussed with this planned for August 17th at Tatton Park. Karl Edmondson will be the host for the day, which is ticket only admission of which we have been allocated 10 passes.
Many thanks to all the members that arrived early to assist with erecting the marquee and banner frame. Of course we didn’t need the marquee with such lovely weather but it was worth the effort.
Our next meeting is at Blenheim Palace on the 22nd June and further joining information will be sent out shortly. Thanks again for your support and we look forward to seeing you all soon.
