A great time was had by all on our return visit to Castle Combe Racing Circuit in Wiltshire. In glorious sunshine 14 Crossfires made a great display which attracted lots of attention, especially from some folks who came over to chat, and tell us they had never seen a Crossfire before!

The rarity of our cars made very obvious by the much larger numbers of Lotus, E Types, Marcos and TVRs present! The car clubs were out in force making an eclectic selection of cars, but it must be said that there was little to match our impressive display, helped by our banner and flags. Most Crossfire owners took to the circuit through the day, taking advantage of the various track sessions.

This started with Sharon taking her Yellow Roadster on the gentle procession run, followed later by more Crossfires getting a few laps in behind the pace car. Later on Mo took the SRT out for the open track session. Mixing it up with some very competitive sports and saloon cars, the SRT looked very competitive and it was a great sight to see it driven well by Mo.

To round off a great day we kick-started our fundraising plans with a raffle organised by Gill. Some great raffle prizes had been donated by members, including Champagne, Wine and Chocolates and thanks to all present, a fantastic £80 was raised towards our UK Crossfires Gazebo project. Many thanks to all those attending, and helping to make this such a great day!!!
