FOR CROSSFIRE DRIVERS IN THE UK

Shield

In response to the requests of local members, UK Crossfires hit the road for our first meet in the North Yorkshire sunshine, the venue being the Eden Camp Museum near Malton. The Museum gave us a warm welcome and provided us with plenty of parking in our own designated area where we were able to show our cars and club banners.

Created on the site of an original WW11 POW Camp, the museum tells the story of Second World War starting with the outbreak of war in 1939; through to the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps in 1945. Depicting both family and military life through a vast range of very realistic and detailed displays, a visit to the museum is both fascinating and highly educational. Though more members had confirmed attendance, sadly just five Crossfire owners were present on the day (one in a BMW guess who!) having made long journeys from Leeds, Nottingham, Newark, Cannock and Havant.  As always, those attending shared great conversation, lots of laughs and had a great day.
