Sunday 21st July 2019 ~ Once again the UK Crossfires Club returned to the magnificent venue of Blenheim Palace, steeped in history with magnificent grounds to explore, jointly hosted by myself Anne E Roberts and Geoffrey Hooker.
Twenty two Crossfires attended the event and the weather was perfect, just the right temperature to enjoy an afternoon picnic.
Parked together at the famous North Gates it made a fantastic backdrop for people to take photos of their cars. Our Crossfires were admired by many visitors to the palace.
For many new members, this was their first experience of a Club meeting and we received lots of compliments on how we ran the event and how much they enjoyed the day. Geoffrey Hooker spent many hours discussing issues that occasionally occur with our cars, and we would like to extended a big thank you to Mike Darby our Chairman who works tirelessly behind the scenes discussing arrangements with the estate organisers, but sadly on this occasion was unable to attend.
Once again we appreciate our members continued support, and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
